1Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ImanBytes ("the app", "our app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("user", "you", or "your") and ImanBytes.

By using ImanBytes, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You understand the app is provided free of charge

2Description of Service

ImanBytes is a free Islamic mobile application designed to help Muslims practice and strengthen their faith. The app provides the following features:

Core Features:

• Quran Verses with Translation and Audio: Complete Quranic text with multiple translations and audio recitations for listening and learning
• Prayer Times: Accurate daily prayer time calculations.
• Ramadan Iftar and Sehri Times: Precise timings for breaking fast (Iftar) and pre-dawn meal (Sehri) during the blessed month of Ramadan
• Ramadan Calendar: Complete Islamic calendar with important dates, events, and daily Ramadan schedules

3License and Use Rights

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, ImanBytes grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the app on your personal mobile device(s)
• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Access all features and content provided within the app

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code
• Sell, lease, rent, sublicense, or transfer the app to third parties
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the app for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features or license verification
• Use ad-blocking software or methods to prevent advertisements from displaying
• Redistribute the app outside of official channels (Google Play Store)

4Advertisements

This app is supported by advertisements to keep it free for all users. By using ImanBytes, you agree to:

• View advertisements displayed within the app
• Allow the app to use your Advertising ID for relevant ad delivery
• Understand that ad revenue supports app development and maintenance

You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings, but advertisements will still be displayed to support the free app model.

5Islamic Content and Religious Disclaimer

5.1 Accuracy of Content

While we make every effort to provide accurate Islamic content, users must understand that:

• Quran Translations: Are interpretations by scholars and may vary. The Arabic text of the Quran is the only authoritative source
• Audio Recitations: Are provided by qualified reciters, but the Arabic text remains the primary reference
• Prayer Times: Are calculated using standard astronomical formulas
• Ramadan Times: Iftar and Sehri times are calculated based on astronomical data and may vary by a few minutes depending on local sighting and community practices
• Islamic Calendar: Dates are calculated astronomically and may differ from moon sighting in your local community

5.2 Not a Substitute for Scholarship

ImanBytes is an educational and devotional tool and should not replace:

• Consulting qualified Islamic scholars, Imams, and teachers
• In-depth study of Islamic texts and sciences
• Personal religious guidance from knowledgeable individuals
• Community religious instruction and gatherings
• Local mosque announcements for prayer and Ramadan times

6Internet Connection and Data Usage

Many features of ImanBytes require an active internet connection, including:

• Downloading Quran translations and audio files
• Fetching prayer time data
• Displaying advertisements
• Updating Islamic calendar information

Data charges from your mobile carrier may apply. ImanBytes is not responsible for any data charges incurred while using the app.

7Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, functionality, design, graphics, logos, user interface, and software code of ImanBytes are owned by ImanBytes or our licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and intellectual property laws.

The Quranic text, translations, and audio recitations are used with appropriate permissions and licenses from their respective copyright holders.

8User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use ImanBytes in a manner that:

• Respects Islamic values, principles, and the sanctity of religious content
• Complies with all local, national, and international laws and regulations
• Does not interfere with other users' ability to use and enjoy the app
• Does not harm the reputation of Islam, the Muslim community, or ImanBytes
• Maintains the dignity and reverence of Quranic content
• Does not attempt to misuse, hack, or exploit the app's features

9Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ImanBytes disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content
• Uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation
• Freedom from viruses or other harmful components
• Availability of internet connection for app features

10Limitation of Liability

ImanBytes, its developers, affiliates, partners, and licensors shall NOT be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Religious decisions, actions, or practices based on app content
• Missed prayers or religious obligations due to incorrect prayer times
• Personal injury, property damage, or any harm resulting from app use
• Errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in content or translations
• Unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information
• Interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the app

11Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to, at our sole discretion:

• Modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the app or any features at any time with or without notice
• Add, remove, or change features, content, or functionality
• Update these Terms and Conditions (with notification through the app or email)
• Change prayer time calculation methods or data sources
• Update Quran translations, audio recitations, or Islamic content
• Modify advertisement display frequency or placement

Your continued use of the app following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

12Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to ImanBytes immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Misuse of the app or its content
• Attempts to reverse engineer or hack the app
• Use of ad-blocking software that undermines our revenue model
• Any conduct that we believe is harmful to other users, us, or third parties

You may terminate your use of the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

13Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Bangladesh, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

14Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ImanBytes regarding the use of the app and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
